Scheduling & Coverage

Know the crew is short before the shift, not during it.

Duty slots with a minimum crew and the positions they need, members who sign up and say when they are away from their phone, and a task for staff when a crew comes up short.

Slots that know what they need

Each duty slot carries a minimum crew and the positions it requires, like a driver. The grid shows what is still missing, and a week copies forward in one step.

Members sign up from their phone

Members pick up open slots and mark when they are available or away. Staff see how many are away each day and can pin anyone who has not signed up. Each member gets a private calendar feed of their own shifts.

A short crew becomes a task

Every day, a slot in the days ahead that is short on headcount or a position opens a task for staff. The department can also email the members who could fill it, and only them.

The whole roster, and the bay

Announcements go to every member by email and in the member app, with a list of who has read them. A station board on the TV in the bay shows who is on duty, what is coming up, the notices, the last call, and whether the rigs were checked, with no login.
